Directions from Cape Town

Travel from Cape Town towards Paarl on the N1. Take Exit 47 (Stellenbosch / Wellington / Klapmuts Turnoff). Turn right towards Klapmuts. Cross-over the 4-way stop and over the railway bridge. Turn left onto the R45 / Franschhoek road. Backsberg is situated +- 6km's on your right hand side. Approximate travel time: 40 minutes.

Directions from Paarl

Travel towards Franschhoek on the R45. Turn right on to Simondium road at Vrede & Lust. Backsberg is situated +- 4km's on your left hand side. Approximate travel time: 10 minutes.

Directions from Stellenbosch, Somerset West

Travel on the R44 from Stellenbosch towards Wellington / Paarl / Klapmuts. As you enter Klapmuts, turn right on to the R45 / Franschhoek road. Backsberg is situated +- 6km's on your right hand side. Approximate travel time: 20 minutes from Stellenbosch, 30 minutes from Somerset West.
